The Spotlight is Druid Hills High School’s award-winning student-run newspaper—and the oldest newspaper in all of DeKalb County, founded in 1938. Rated Superior by the Georgia Scholastic Press Association for the 2014-2015 school year, we are committed to upholding the standards of journalistic excellence and providing news coverage that students, staff members, Druid Hills families and members of the community can depend on. We distribute each issue of the Spotlight to students, cost-free.
